Watch a demonstration of the new e-mail scheduling features that allows you to send emails at a later date and even send them repeatedly.

Well that's a real disappointment that because we have less than 100 members we are denied this facility.
On reading the release notes I thought 'great - this will be a solution to a resourcing problem of creating What's On newsletters - send an extract of the calendar automatically'. A simple way of gaining real benefit from the Insight system. Now my enthusiasm is dashed.
Surely we are not the only small user? What proportion of the Insight user base have <100 members? Please explain the reasons for this decision, and hopefully when scheduling will be enabled for all - don't like to feel we are second-tier, we all pay for the service don't we?

This feature hasn't been enabled initially when mailing less than 100 hundred people because the current interface that is used when mailing this quantity of people allows you to overwrite individual user's preferences and these couldn't be retained for future scheduled mailings.
In the next release, we're planning allow mailings to less that 100 people to use the bulk mailing interface which will allow emails to any number of people to be scheduled in future. When mailing less than 100 people you'll still be able to access the interface where you select what mail type each specific user receives, but if you do then scheduled mailing will be disabled.

OK Justin - thanks for the explanation. I'm pleased that I watched the video and heard your comment about this limitation before plunging in and wondering why it was greyed out !
I'll eagerly await the next release .......

I'm waiting for it too. At present if there are more than 100 people I can't forward an e-mail to people who need it later but I can schedule. But if there are less than 100 people I can forward but not schedule... I'd very much appreciate being able to do both.

I was hoping for clarificaiton on whether members who sign up after a repeating scheduled mailing is first sent will be added to the list of those receiving it, assuming that they become part of the group that is sent mail. Can you help?
