Can't login? If you get the 'Login Failed' page when you try to login follow the instructions on screen which are as follows:

  • Your password is case-sensitive. Please ensure you do NOT have CAPSLOCK on by mistake.
  • Select the option to reset your password, it'll be emailed to you immediately. If you don't receive it within 10 minutes check your email client's junk mail folder.
  • If you still can't login with your new password follow the link to the login troubleshooter and step through the on-screen instructions.

Sometimes I have to enter the correct password twice!  After first input of entering password where you enter password goes blank.  I repeat the correct password and re enter and I am logged in.  Why does this happen.

Some of my church give up after the first attempt!

There's no obvious reason with the system why this would happen. I haven't been able to recreate the issue myself. Obviously it's quite easy to mistype a password upon first attempt though.

It would be best to submit a support ticket for this sort of query. We'd be interested in the browser and OS you're using (including version) and where you're logging in and getting failures e.g.login pop-up, login failed page or web office login.

I get the double login issue, usually when first logging into the Web Office.  The login doesn't work on the default admin login page.  It only works on the error message page.  I've even tried going back to the default page to login a second time and it doesn't work there.

This is the same on IE8, FF3 and now FF4.

Once I have logged in OK, loggin in on another make of browser I don't the problem again.  If you want any more details, let me know.

I have had this problem before and reported it but still no help. I use firefox and a mac. It always accepts the same login name and password when I am redirected to the error message page but 2 in every 3 attempts on the main page redirect me with an error message.

I always have to try twice - (and, of course, then again to get to web office). The only exception is if I have just started up my computer. I use Forefox on Windows 7 and normally put the computer to sleep rather than turn it off.

Can someone at churchinsight try logging on and off again using Firefox then putting their PC to sleep and see it they can log in first time when they wake it up, please.

I'm the same as Ric.  FF4 on Mac.  Repeated login requests.  Grr.

I have to repeat Graham's problem in that I have to enter my password more than once.  It's a recent thing.  Also the site doesn't remember my password after I've ticked the box, and drops me when I'm listening to an audio, so that I have to enter passwords again.

This is putting people off signing onto the site.

I use firefox and windows.

Thanks for any help.

I think this is getting worse.

Today I tried half a dozen times and each time "name and password were not recognised" I closed the browser and reopened - same thing. Then I restarted the PC, logged in first time, and straight into weboffice so clearly it is the name that is causing the problems - and Yes, I do know my own name and I was not typing it in capitals!

I have always found it quite easy to login on the Mind & Sould web site

If I get the password not recognised message, I simply hit enter again and it works. Bizarre. What also really annoys me is that I can be logged in, then I go to another private bit of the website and it makes me log in again, even though the website knows I am already logged in. It gives us a lot of grief with people who are not as persistent as I am.

We have found if you select to login and then your session times out then logging in fails, but then works the second time you login. We're fixing this in the forthcoming release and also keeping sessions open when there's activity of any kind e.g.typing an article, so hopefully these additions will resolve many of these login issues.

Fore some reason this seems to have cured itself - unless Church Insight have done something. Now it is the exception rather than the rule that I need to make several attempts to log in. Thanks.
