For those of you using Flickr to store your photo albums online here's a neat way of incorporating the slideshow into one of your articles! if you want to create a slideshow of images uploaded to your web site see creating a slideshow.
1. Decide what photos are going to appear in your slideshow - it's best to add all these photos to a set (flickr's equivalent of an album) as it'll make it easier to limit which photos are included.
2. Once you've created your new set, display the set as a slideshow.
3. The url of the page you are currently displaying will look something like this:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/**name**/sets/**set number**/show/
the set number is the important part - you'll need to note this down for later.
4. Create your new article; once you have finished adding text and images as required click the "source" button:![]()
this will display the html for your article.
5. At the end of the code add the following:
<iframe width="500" scrolling="no" height="500" align="middle" src="http://www.flickr.com/slideShow/index.gne?set_id=**set number**@N00&frameBorder=0"></iframe>
replacing the '**set number**' portion with the set number you wrote down earlier.
6. Click the source button once again to return to your article and save it in the usual way. Note: the slideshow will not be visible in the article editor.
Here's an example of a slideshow in action:
